Every kindergarten and school that wishes to participate in our project can fill out the application.
Parents
Would you like your child to participate in an international ‘Say Hello to the World’ project? You can speak to your kindergarten teacher and inform her about us, or contact us. We will try to do our best to make it happen.

First video call - Nova Gorica (Slovenia) & Pagiriai (Lithuania)

Within the framework of the first video call, the children were discovering things about themselves and the differences between them and the children of the world. When the children learned about where their new friends are from, they have looked up for Slovenia and Lithuania on the map, with the help of encyclopaedias and their teachers. They’ve talked about the characteristics and differences of the two countries. The children from Nova Gorica have put a heart between the two countries as a symbol of a mutual friendship.
The children got acquainted with various possibilities of communication – a computer, a webcam and a regular mail, through which they have exchanged photos.
An important part of the first "Finger", was getting to know themselves. Therefore the children played various social games, through which they were discovering the differences and similarities between peers. They were also discovering differences from their self-portraits.
During the video call the children sang an English song, learned a few words in English and Lithuanian and had a lot of fun.
In the Nova Gorica kindergarten, the children have also arranged a special place for the parents, where they can monitor the activities and see photographs of the activities that take place within the framework of our project.
