Would you like your child to participate in an international ‘Say Hello to the World’ project? You can speak to your kindergarten teacher and inform her about us, or contact us. We will try to do our best to make it happen.

Second video call - Krško (Slovenia) & Pagiriai (Lithuania)

During the course of the second video call, the children got to know their families and their friend’s families. The children from Krško kindergarten have read family stories, told their family adventures and draw themselves along with their loved ones in a house “where everybody lives”.
The children from Lithuania also got to know various forms of families. They have also told each other interesting family stories, talked about different customs and habits and got to know each other’s families. In this way they have realized there are many different family types in their environment. Before the video call they have also drawn a family tree and their own family.

During the second video call, the children exchanged their drawings and in such a way presented their families. They have learned some new Slovene and Lithuanian words and ended their meeting with singing English songs. Glimpses of the second video call can be seen in the photo gallery.
The children realized there are many different families – in some families there are two parents and in others there is only one parent, some also have grandparents living with them or they have different pets but what they all have in common is that they love each other.
