23/08/2016 18:17:22

A Catholic, a Muslim, an Orthodox, a Buddhist, a Hindu, a Jew and an Atheist – all of them are my friends!

Religious freedom is a recognized human right which is also a part of the Slovenian Constitution.

In Slovenia there are approximately 55% Catholics, followed by Muslims, Orthodox and Evangelicals. The Catholic faith has also had a great importance on development of the Slovenian nation through history.

In Slovenia, other religions are represented mainly by immigrants and their descendants, who came to Slovenia at a time of war.

A Catholic, a Muslim, an Orthodox, a Buddhist, a Hindu, a Jew and an Atheist – no matter what we believe in, we still have equal rights!
